Our sponsorship program is for people who want to become more involved by making a difference in a special horse's life. By sponsoring a Halfway to Heaven horse, you allow us to continue our mission!

Did you know... Thousands of Mustangs wait in “limbo” for a home? Over 62,000 Mustangs are in government holding? The Mustangs at Halfway to Heaven Mustang Rescue depend on us while they're searching for their forever home or while we're pouring TLC into gentling, training, and caring for them...Thousands of people adore horses nationwide, but they cannot call a horse their own due to age, health, time, or cost.

The horses in our rescue require daily care, such as:

* Feed and hay

* Vitamin and mineral supplements

* Veterinary care

* Hoof maintenance/Farriery

* Routine dental care

* Gentling and training

Caring for and maintaining the Halfway to Heaven herd is expensive and time-consuming. Often, one horse will spend months or years with us to receive the intensive TLC and training they need to be ready for their new domestic life. We intake horses in some of the worst conditions, physically and mentally, and we always do our best to ensure they are ready for their next step. Ultimately, we want every Halfway to Heaven horse to feel happy, healthy, trusting and loved.

Sponsorship costs as much (or as little) as you are willing to pay each month! You can also sponsor more than one horse of your choosing.

The cost of basic care for each horse in our care is approximately $500 per month—some horses need more. We aim to reach sponsorships totaling $500 per month for each horse.
